PRIVACY NOTICE

1. Introduction

This Privacy Notice for Glo Ho App (“Glo Ho,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) describes how and why we might access, collect, retain, use, and/or share (“process”) your personal information when you use the Glo Ho app and related services.

This Privacy Notice is intended to inform you of our privacy practices and help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the Glo Ho app or related services. For privacy questions, concerns, or requests, contact us at contact@gloho.app.

2. Age Requirement

Glo Ho is strictly for people age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

3. Information We Collect

Personal account information: In Short, We collect personal information that you provide to us. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and a securely hashed password.

Product and service submissions: We collect feedback messages and product requests that you choose to send. These submissions are not linked to an individual user's Glo Ho account in the app’s database.

Purchase information: If you choose to make purchases including reoccuring subscriptions from Glo Ho, Apple or Google process your payment-card information. We do not receive or store your card number. We may process or retain purchase information needed to confirm access to paid features. 4. Product and Search History

Your recently viewed products are stored only on your device in the Glo Ho app. We save up to 50 entries locally so you can revisit them. This history is not synced to your account or sent to Glo Ho as a server-side history log. It will not transfer when you sign in on another device. You can clear it from the Account screen, and it is removed if you delete the app or clear its app data

5. How We Use Information

We use account information to provide sign-in, account management, and account-deletion features. We use product requests and feedback to improve Glo Ho and decide which products to add. We use purchase information, if paid features are introduced, to provide the features you purchased. We do not use third-party analytics in the Glo Ho app at this time.

6. Retention and Deletion

Account information is retained while you have a Glo Ho account. After you confirm account deletion with your current password, your account information is deleted immediately. Reviewed feedback is deleted after 180 days. All feedback is deleted after one year. Product requests that result in an added product page are deleted after 180 days. All product requests are deleted after one year.

7. Server Logs

Glo Ho does not save server logs in its database or use them as user history. Our backend writes limited operational request information, such as the request path, response status, and response time, to server output for reliability and troubleshooting. Replit manages hosting and log retention for the app. Replit currently retains deployment and application logs for seven days. Our request logger is configured not to log request bodies and to redact authorization headers and cookies.

8. Service Providers

We use service providers that process information only to provide their services to us:

Apple Pay: payment processing, invoices, billing 

App Store Connect: platform services & hosting

GitHub: private source-code hosting, version control, repository management, and developer collaboration used to maintain and update services

Google Gmail: delivery of account verification and account-management emails

Google Pay: payment processing, invoices, billing

Google Play Store: platform services & hosting

Replit: app hosting, database infrastructure, and operational logs

Wix and Mailchimp: web hosting, email signup collections, email updates

9. Safety of Information

We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures. We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our

safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or

information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or

guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat

our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our

best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our

Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

10. Your Choices​

You can review and update account information in the app, clear local product history from the Account screen, and delete your account using the Account screen. You can opt out of Mailchimp launch emails using the unsubscribe link included in those emails. To ask a privacy question or make a request, email contact@gloho.app.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence in the US, you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information. You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, depending on your country, province, or state of residence. We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Withdrawing your consent: If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided below or in the "Introduction" and "Your Choices" sections. However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have the right to request access to and receive details about the personal information we maintain about you and how we have processed it, correct inaccuracies, get a copy of, or delete your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information. These rights may be limited in some circumstances by applicable law.

You have rights under certain US state data protection laws. However, these rights are not absolute, and in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law. These rights include:

  • Right to know whether or not we are processing your personal data

  • Right to access your personal data

  • Right to correct inaccuracies in your personal data

  • Right to request the deletion of your personal data

  • Right to obtain a copy of the personal data you previously shared with us

  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights · Right to opt out of the processing of your personal data if it is used for targeted advertising (or sharing as defined under California’s privacy law), the sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects ("profiling")

Depending upon the state where you live, you may also have the following rights:

  • Right to access the categories of personal data being processed (as permitted by applicable law, including the privacy law in Minnesota)

  • Right to obtain a list of the categories of third parties to which we have disclosed personal data (as permitted by applicable law, including the privacy law in California, Delaware, and Maryland)

  • Right to obtain a list of specific third parties to which we have disclosed personal data (as permitted by applicable law, including the privacy law in Minnesota and Oregon)

  • Right to review, understand, question, and correct how personal data has been profiled (as permitted by applicable law, including the privacy law in Minnesota) 

  • Right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal data (as permitted by applicable law, including the privacy law in California)

  • Right to opt out of the collection of sensitive data and personal data collected through the operation of a voice or facial recognition feature (as permitted by applicable law, including the privacy law in Florida)

Under certain US state data protection laws, you can designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on your behalf in accordance with applicable laws.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Glo Ho changes. We will post the updated version in the app and update the “Last updated” date.
